In addition to the usual legal requirements, this company has extra defining
aims, and a framework of ideals that underpin all of its activities. These
are as follows:
1) To produce and supply sustainably and in a way that promotes natural diversity.
2) To minimise waste and avoid pollution through turning outputs into a potential resources. For example through avoiding detergents and hazardous substances in manufacturing we can enable ‘waste’ to fully bio-degrade into a nutrient rich garden food.
3) The company will give reasonable pay and conditions to all employees, but no one person will draw pay beyond the national average. Profits will be reinvested into the business or into its environmental projects.
4) To offer support for art and culture where it values the environment and recognises intrinsic value in all that comes directly from nature. Hair grows directly from healthy processes within us and therefore we support the choice to give hair value as naturally beneficial.
5) To do what the customer asks and inform them as much as we can.
Many hairdressers are notoriously bad at following instructions. Unfortunately - their interest in what they do rests on asserting change into hair, not helping its health.
